Position & Key Responsibilities
TCP is seeking a hands-on fixed income analyst to support an opportunistic credit strategy, and with flexibility
to invest across other asset classes. The analyst will work closely with the fixed income portfolio manager to
identify attractive credit opportunities across industrial sectors, capital structures and credit quality tiers.
Duties:

  • Conduct fundamental credit analysis on existing and potential investments
  • Build detailed financial models including forecasting revenue, EBITDA and cash flow under multiple scenarios
  • Use street relationships to source and vet investment theses
  • Evaluate investment ideas generated by the PM while developing the capability to generate original investment ideas
  • Identify structural changes affecting credits and sectors

Professional Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of experience in a leveraged finance buy-side, sell-side or advisory role
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skill
  • Willingness to work on a diverse range of sectors, credit qualities and return profiles
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience investing in multiple parts of the capital structure a plus
  • Have strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, a positive attitude, and genuine passion for excellence
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be a self-starter, highly organized, and detail-oriented
  • Be capable of meaningfully contributing to strategic dialogue and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Have the ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office
