The SD candidate will lead or co lead an AHF branch office, develop and execute a business plan in conjunction with Managing Partner, and develop a strong culture to optimize relationships and resources within the office.

The SD candidate will lead or co lead an AHF branch office. They are responsible for understanding the local market and developing COI's and increasing brand awareness. Develop and execute a business plan in conjunction with Managing Partner to growth the branch profitably and increase advisors. Key responsibilities include growth of the advisors' practices through business plan coaching; advisor training and presenting to clients with the advisors, bringing new talent to the organization through successful recruiting and acquiring of external practices, and developing a strong culture to optimize relationships and resources within the office. SD Aspirant will be trained to assume the role while still a producing financial representative. SD's can continue to produce if they wish.

SD Responsibilities:

  • Implement local recruiting strategy. Recruit high quality experienced advisors and new advisors to the branch. Actively work with advisors to optimize their pipeline and manage the end-to-end client experience. Develop branch's value proposition and articulate it to candidates and clients. Execute boarding and ramp-up plans that drive growth.
  • Drive organic growth of the branch office through active leadership, coaching, and delivery of the AHF experience. Monitor advisor results regularly and provide systematic regular coaching to advisors on ongoing business planning, client acquisition, advice, investment solutions, developing COIs, and more.
  • Lead the branch with integrity. Anticipate, manage, and resolve risk items to ensure the best interests of the client are met. Manage any issues with product placement being delayed & help expedite client account openings.
  • Develop strong local office culture, including a culture of peer learning and comradery; achievement orientation; growth and continuous development. Ensure AHF core values are upheld - client focus, client first, excellence in all we do, and giving back to the communities in which we live and work.
  • Maintain or build financial planning office serving clients via the AHF experience. Lead from the front and be a role model for others in how you serve your clients and run your office.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5 plus years of relevant work experience.
  • Obtain and maintain appropriate registrations to provide advisor support and develop advisor training.
  • Active FINRA Series 6 or 7
  • Active Life and Accident/Health insurance license
  • Proven success driving business growth.
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate an organization to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated sales success with proven ability to acquire clients and close business.
  • Self-driven and achievement oriented.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and reports to determine business opportunities.
  • Knowledgeable and able to develop networks within the community.
  • Excellent compliance record.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree and/or relevant industry designations preferred (i.e., CFP)
