About the Department
Group International Management ("GIM") looks after the Group's international banking franchise. It also houses the Group Foreign Direct Investment Advisory unit and the Group M&A Team, and provides business management and oversight to UOB Global Capital and UOB Venture Management, the Group's PE/VC units.

Job Responsibilities
  • The Business Management function supports Head of GIM on performance management, management routines and strategic initiatives of the business units within GIM.
  • Support the setting and tracking of business unit performance measures and deliverables.
  • Support business/country leadership teams and head office functions in rolling out and driving initiatives across different businesses/countries and functions. Surface key issues/potential detailers and manage follow-ups if any help is needed from head office stakeholders.
  • Maintain data repositories and develop tools to facilitate analysis and reporting.
  • Support planning and running of regional activities including townhalls and offsites.
  • Support management routines, dialogues and cadences between GIM and business units, countries or head office functions.
  • Prepare research, analysis and presentation materials as required.
  • Drive project management and tracking of deliverables under GIM 10X Breakthrough Goals.


Job Requirements
  • Good bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years and above work experience with exposure to finance, strategy, consulting, project management or business development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to build relationships with all stakeholders
  • Can-do attitude with ability to work independently and thrive in ambiguity
  • Win-win mentality and out-of-box thinking to drive outcomes in collaboration with other teams
  • Growth mindset with strong quantitative, critical-thinking, creative problem-solving and process design skills that can translate analysis into actions that meet business objectives
  • Disciplined planning and organizational skills, highly resourceful, tech-savvy
  • Project management experience and a good track record of spearheading projects, from concept to completion will be a plus
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
