HSBC Wealth Management leads the Asia-Pacific implementation of our global strategy to deliver world-class solutions to retail and private clients seeking to grow, protect, preserve or transfer their wealth. This involves the development and management of needs-based solutions covering foreign exchange, deposit, investment, insurance and financing products, as well as the provision of suitable market insights and updates, financial planning and advisory services.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Advisory Specialist - Sales Enablement.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the advisory proposition across client segments and booking centres through the design of key features that benefits both the front office and the clients
  • Focus on building a best-in-class advisory client journey that is appropriate for different client segments
  • Support the commercialization of the advisory proposition by moving client assets into Prism (fee-based advisory mandates)
  • Shape and launch new advisory offerings in partnership with other product teams and the front office
  • Provide sales enablement support for the front office through training and education related to both Prism and the usage of Aladdin, including direct client facing activities
  • Develop and own the marketing strategy for Prism and ensure global alignment on branding and proposition
  • Handle complex client cases from the front office that requires the usage of Prism to increase the share of wallet or for asset retention purposes
  • Offer expertise on how best to deliver investment advice across client channels and to leverage on the global investment capabilities of the bank and usage of technology to further digitalize the client experience
  • Collaborate in an agile environment as the subject matter expert with Transformation and IT in specialized work streams to develop new UX/UI that will impact the advisory journey
Requirements

Degree in finance/business and preferably with other professional accreditations such as CFA
  • At least 10 years of experience in banking or asset management
  • Strong understanding of asset allocation and portfolio construction
  • Has previously been actively involved in building advisory propositions and go-to-market strategies
  • Sales oriented and an effective communicator
  • Ability to speak fluently in Mandarin and/or Cantonese
