Global Head of Execution Services - Director

The Global Head of Execution Services Operations will be responsible for the end-to-end operational processes across Agency Securities Lending, Securities Services FX and Collateral Management, including service to Clients and the implementation of new products as defined by the Global Product Development team. This role will manage a complex experienced team of over 160 staff across the globe and work in close partnership with each of the functional areas within Securities Services Operations and the business functions to assess the required processes and controls as well as Service Agreements with clients. The role is also expected to bring thought leadership to the growing process of Execution Services to work closely with the Product to help define a world class operation providing the best-in-class service for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support growth strategy for Execution Services by partnering with Product and regions to evaluate offerings and service expansion and provide expertise for client prospects/RPFs
• Develop best practices and implement procedures and controls to ensure consistent compliance with global regulations.
• Ensure the implementation and adoption of a globally consistent system set for the operation
• Ensure commonality in all processes where possible across all functions
• Monitor global regulatory and market changes; implement and communicate necessary changes
• Identify and drive process re-engineering and redesign activities to achieve better controls, compliance, and efficiencies
• Monitor internal and external benchmarks and implement best practices across locations
• Identify, develop, and retain key talent on behalf of the overall business. Ensure people strategy and organizational capabilities are aligned to the business strategy.

Experience and Skills

• Accountancy or another Financial Qualification / Degree is preferred
• Significant experience in related Financial Services Services with major accounting or law firm or financial services industry
• Experience in one or more of Agency Securities Lending, FX and / or Collateral Management is preferred
• Proven ability to operate at a senior business analytics level with a high focus on process related risk management
• Ability to introduce and drive change in a complex environment
• Proven ability to manage complex and sensitive situations and quickly identify and remediate risks
• Self-reliant and results oriented with a proven ability to manage complex situations
• Demonstrated experience leading people and developing effective and diverse teams across a global footprint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate and influence at senior levels
• Strong organizational and project management skills, able to work under pressure and prioritize to deadlines

Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree and managerial experience
