What will you be doing?

• On behalf of a global financial services organization, develop quantitative techniques to inform securities investing, equities investing, pricing, and valuation of financial instruments.
• Develop mathematical and statistical models for risk management, asset optimization, pricing, and relative value analysis.
• Develop core analytical capabilities and model libraries using advanced statistical, quantitative and econometric techniques.
• Gather requirements and manage stress-testing projects by coordinating a team of modelers and model implementation technicians that deliver automated sophisticated stress testing projections execution.
• Support projects involving advanced analysis of business data, processing, and stress test design modifications that are implemented in an automated orchestration.
• Provide application and analytical support to researchers and traders on issues such as valuations and data to enable technical subject matter experts to perform highly specialized computational functions.
• Research new financial products and analytics to implement into stress testing.
• Utilize technical project management approaches to support these computer-based information systems, applications, database management systems, and outcome analyses.

What we're looking for:

Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Engineering (any), or related field and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressively responsible experience as a Financial and Business Analyst or related occupation. Must have at least five (5) years of progressively responsible employment experience with each of the following required skills:

Business Analysis and Data Analysis to propose solutions and assess numbers and trends to help gather informed decisions; Process Improvement and Automation to reduce and increase accuracy of delivery, reduce dependencies as feasible, and deliver quality output; Finance and Stress Testing to help deliver regulatory commitments of the bank, facilitate discussions across stakeholders around CCAR stress testing results, and CCAR model development requirements; Risk Management to help deliver Risk and Controls assessment exercise and support internal audit findings; Business Process Engineering; Project Management to help plan and deliver projects and ensure smooth delivery of regulatory and compliance commitments; Conducting process reengineering, process mapping, and change management within bank, implementing, and leading data management initiatives across lines of business; and understanding the delivery needs of CCAR re-engineering data requirements, regulatory requirements, and core Risk and Finance measures.

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Wilmington, Delaware location at 125 S. West Street. Barclays' Wilmington campus includes two beautiful buildings located along the historic Wilmington, DE Riverfront. A glance out our windows reveal a scenic look at the Christiana River, along with a growing riverfront community of luxury apartments, shops, and restaurants. Additionally, the Wilmington train station is a short walk away making travel from New York and Washington, DC convenient.
