Position Summary

The primary job is to support the existing client base and business development through a wide variety of assignments and activities as an analyst supporting the CEO, CIO and Director of Financial Planning. The position will report directly to the Director of Financial Planning.

Compensation

Compensation range for this position is 30k-55k base range for this role, with a potential annual bonus based on job performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for upkeep and data integrity of Orion trends for CEO on a weekly basis and to generate 12 month, YTD, and quarter to date trends on organic billable AUM, non-billable discretionary AUM, and non-billable non-discretionary AUM. Responsible for reporting it weekly to entire team in CPW meetings once a week. Responsible for reporting status of internal and external business development on a weekly and ongoing basis to support the CPW team initiative and mission of lower limit of 2mm organic monthly and 5mm flexible upper limit monthly.  Take ownership of database of prospective clients and database internal business development. Increase skills and capabilities to use eMoney to help prepare for existing and prospective client meetings. Assist in the preparation and follow up for prospective and existing client meetings. This can include correspondence (email, phone, text), data gathering, and analysis of current situation and potential alternatives. Assist in the preparation, note taking, and follow up for investment committee meetings as needed from CIO. Continue to improve communication skills with clients as it relates to being a future advisor.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s Degree Series 65 License Material progress toward a CFP® or CFA certification within 2 years. Completed coursework, exams, etc. Ability to take ownership and pride in one’s job function to help serve the existing client base and grow the firm Self-taught mentality and problem solving to learn new skills and technology (eMoney, Ycharts, Excel, etc.) Ability to maintain an organized database of multiple moving parts and communicate the status to relevant team members

  • Travel may be a necessary part of the job. This could include travel to relevant professional conferences, travel to our Boerne office, and travel to meet with clients at their home, office, or public setting for a meeting.
