As a Barclays Prime Derivatives Services (PDS) Clearing Management professional you will be working as part of the Clearing Management team, the individual will be responsible for the ongoing management of the PDS business to help achieve our objectives, which include but are not limited to revenue enhancement, optimisation of resources, improvement of controls, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulation.

What will you be doing?

• Providing analytical support for the PDS business; interpreting, analyzing, and providing ongoing management information to senior management
• You will be the Business owner of day-to-day operational issues (escalation point), P&L analysis, investigation and sign off
• Providing Governance of Client pricing including presenting pricing proposals for sign off
• Assisting the Business with financial resource optimization; focusing on capital, Risk Weighted Assets and returns
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and control agenda
• You will be providing the provision of requirements for strategic infrastructure projects e.g. platform consolidation initiatives
• Tracking and management of business development projects
• You will be tasked with the delivery of ad-hoc projects based on Business needs e.g. client revenue profile deep-dive

What we're looking for:

• Relevant experience in the financial services industry possessing the ability to develop effective solutions to support new business initiatives, market and regulatory changes
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and data manipulation skills, with the ability to distil a broad range of data
• A resourceful, self-starter who is able to escalate appropriately when required
• A team player with a high level of motivation, commitment and enthusiasm to work in a multi-asset class team

Skills that will help you in the role:
• A University degree in Finance
• An understanding of derivatives execution and clearing, and the accompanying regulatory environment
• Knowledge of Exchange Traded and Cleared Over the Counter (OTC) and bilateral Derivatives products, across the Rates, Equities, FX, Credit and Commodities asset classes
• Project Management Experience
