This position is part of the Glasgow Finance COO team, which supports the local Head of Finance, the senior management team and the broader Office of the COO for Finance regionally and globally. The team is responsible is to oversee and manage the day to day operations of Glasgow Finance organisation, provide business performance metrics, reporting and manage people & communication strategy. This is with an aim to generate effectiveness within the organisation and also to support senior management in their operational and strategic decision making. The role is part of a local team of 3.

What will you be doing?
-Support the Head of Glasgow Finance and COO for Glasgow Finance in a variety of departmental management related deliverables,
-Own a regular MI report production process, and help drive process and control enhancements to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of current reporting procedures
-Prepare a range of materials for departmental communications, both cyclical and ad hoc in nature; ranging from local department wide communications right through to targeted materials on specific topics for senior global stakeholders,
-Liaise with other team members, senior staff members and other departments as necessary to collate/disseminate information

What we're looking for:
-Experienced in a Business Management or Project Management role, ideally in accounting/finance industries but not essential
-Analytical - critical thinking; understands how to break down a problem and apply a practical solution.
-Exemplary written and verbal communication skills; can interpret requirements and develop written communications in a variety of formats and for a variety of audiences
High level reporting to Sr Managers
-Technical - Microsoft: Proficient in Excel including pivot tables, formulas and data manipulation, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint.
