Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility for this position is to ensure that the CCAR/DFAST regulatory submissions are complete, correct and timely. Additional responsibilities include issue resolution and ad-hoc analysis among other project related tasks. Provide support for downstream processes such as the stress testing, loan loss and other risk related processes. Any background in risk reporting or regulatory reporting is desired. The core strengths required for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Excellent analytical skills both on re-engineering existing business processes and resigning data flows.
  • Ability to deliver system design, project plans, requirements documentation and track the resolution of issues and timelines.
  • Understanding of data enrichments and logic both in end user computing solutions as well as core banking systems.
  • Ability to work with the Business and Technology teams to design, execute, test and deploy technology solutions.
  • Coordinate with Technology teams to ensure design and documentation is of sufficient quality, depth and clarity for Developers to act on written requirements.
  • Develop process control manuals for documenting current production processes.
  • Participate in user testing and quality assurance as well as be responsible for the transition from a manual to automated systemic solution and ensure continuity between quarterly submissions.
  • Strong understanding of financial and risk reporting and prior regulatory reporting experience desired.
  • Team player with good communication skills, written/verbal skills and ability to work with both small and large teams including risk managers, credit officers, modeling teams, finance and technology teams
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis and system process flow analysis to identify issues and propose system design solutions as well as tactical solutions (if necessary).
  • Collaborative work style and ability to work with a variety of people/functional areas resulting in high quality and timely deliverables.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to multi-task productively and to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Ability to deliver high quality work under pressure
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work load efficiently and flexible to react to changing priorities
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with risk metrics including stress testing, loan loss reserves or economic capital a plus but not required.
  • Experience in credit risk and familiarity with Citi's consumer and institutional businesses an advantage.
  • Organized, clear thinker, with entrepreneurial spirit and ability to execute complex and dynamic processes in a financial institution.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in advanced MS Excel functionalities and constructing complex analyses and formulas.
  • Proficiency in Tableau is preferred
  • Knowledge of SAS or SQL is preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interact with senior management and summarize and present data from insightful and actionable perspectives.
  • Demonstrated facility to interact and work effectively with diverse teams, as well as lead projects with multiple counterparts across organizations.
  • Ability to work under pressure will be critical.
  • 5+ years' experience with Regulatory related issues (Stress Testing, CCAR, GAAP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of credit and finance systems (Optima, RAPID/Facility Management, Ruby) is preferred
  • Knowledge of banking and financial institutions industry preferred
  • Good knowledge of English.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
