The Global IT Management team represents the office of the CIO, Global Head of Technology at Lazard. This team is responsible for a variety of business and governance activities across Lazard's global IT organization supporting all of the firms' businesses and corporate departments. The IT PMO Project Manager will be part of this management team in the business office.

The IT PMO Project Manager is responsible for directly managing and tracking regular project status updates across the entire IT organization and supporting several other Global IT Management team initiatives. The role involves working closely with all levels of IT teams across the organization.

We'll trust you to:
  • Coordinate , organize, and track the status of all IT projects at Lazard (IT Management PMO)
  • Evaluate status updates including milestones, risks, issues, delivery dates, RAG status, and interdependencies based upon Systems Development Life Cycle for both agile and waterfall methodologies to ensure suitability and cohesion
  • Create statistical reporting on trends across all IT project portfolios (e.g., new, completed projects)
  • Build monthly executive management presentation materials
  • Provide recommendations to the IT Management Team to address challenges, risks, or issues in project tracking
  • Facilitate monthly audit meetings with the IT Leadership team and prepare monthly progress reports for Internal Audit
  • Document, track, report on other Global IT governance programs (e.g., Annual IT Policy Attestation)
  • Assist in the tracking and monitoring of tasks and issues related to the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery program
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports for various key management initiatives
  • Create and maintain related documentation
  • You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or business-related major
  • 5+ years in the IT organization of an Asset Management or Investment Banking financial services firm
  • 5+ years working in a technology PMO, or similar project tracking and coordination experience
  • Experience as a business analyst or hybrid PM/BA a plus
  • Experience working with formal project management methodologies (SDLC, Agile and Waterfall, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - articulate, personable, good listener, with an ability to speak with subject matter experts confidently and drive the IT Management Office agenda
  • Ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and listen comprehensively
  • The ability to manage multiple, unrelated, initiatives at the same time and be highly detail oriented
  • The ability to work in a demanding environment with limited direction i.e., must be a self-starter
  • The ability to collaborate as part of a team and take on additional responsibilities as required
  • Strong basic software skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

    We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $130,000 - $150,000. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant's years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Base salary is one component of Lazard Corporate's compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
