BRIDGE TO BANKING PROGRAM OVERVIEW

At Goldman Sachs diversity matters. The GS Bridge to Banking Program is an opportunity for a diverse set of experienced professionals to transition their prior work experience to a career in investment banking (i.e. individuals with no prior investment banking experience looking to pivot into banking). Successful candidates will join our team of world-class investment bankers as they begin their career advising our clients on some of the world's most complex and consequential financial transactions.

Our industry-leading Bridge to Banking Program will provide you with training designed to develop your technical and financial skills, deepen your professional network, and integrate into the Goldman Sachs culture.

This is a full-time Investment Banking Associate position. Mandatory training begins in June of 2023. Bridge to Banking is only offered in our New York, NY location.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Our associates play an important role in developing and strengthening our client relationships, participating on our advisory teams and in structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions. In this capacity, they work closely with managing directors, vice presidents, analysts, and other associates in the firm.

The associates at Goldman Sachs gain exposure to the firm's businesses and expanded knowledge of the investment banking industry, as they develop key analytical, communications, marketing, and sales skills. Associates develop financial models, perform customized company valuation analyses, and are actively involved in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and fixed income and equity issuances. Associates organize and prepare presentations, which explain industry trends, assess clients' situations to provide the necessary financial advice, and recommend strategies to meet client goals. Additionally, associates coordinate teams of tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers for various transactions; lead due diligence processes and actively participate in the negotiations of legal documentation. From maintaining client communication to helping Goldman Sachs structure client transactions, our associates are a vital part of Goldman Sachs' banking teams.
