As Senior Business Strategist, you will support the development and implementation of the strategic priorities of the Investments division, reporting directly to the Head of Investments. You will be responsible for the central coordination of Investments related initiatives, mixing long term projects with the urgency of immediate demands for the business.
You will also work closely with senior leaders within the division and other functions as required to implement change across the firm. This high level of exposure is a great opportunity to have an impact on the development of Investments.

The key accountabilities for the position are as follows:
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic priorities, as well as the review and optimisation of business and functional activities.
  • Monitor and interpret divisional performance to identify implications and generate insights which will influence strategic decision-making.
  • Take responsibility for large and complex projects from development to implementation, driving strategic change and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Coordinate the preparation of Committees and Board materials.
  • Facilitate internal forums, maintaining the standard reporting cadence, documenting decisions and following through on the next steps.
  • Assist the Head of Investments in any other areas/projects as required/delegated from time to time.

  • 10+ year professional experience in investments, consulting or financial services within a fast-paced, analytical and changing environment. Strong candidates with less experience will be considered.
  • Structured thinking with a results-driven way of working, and a proven ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively.
  • Ability to understand and anticipate the needs of an executive and act on them autonomously.
  • Effective time management expertise and ability to prioritise over a range of tasks and stakeholders whilst working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to liaise across the organisation and its partners as required.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and how to handle confidential information.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Understanding of the value of diversity in the workplace and fostering an inclusive culture in all aspects of working life.
