Responsibilities
  • Acquire and solicit new bancassurance business through cross selling, referral from branch sales and customer centre, conversion from existing bank customer and potential card base, personal business connections
  • Identify the financial needs of the existing customers through discreet financial needs analysis, and cross sell suitable bancassurance products to the customers.
  • Introduce the products and their associated risks, if any, to the customers.
  • Assist to serve as a feedback channel on all issues pertaining to marketing, product acceptance and other issues relating to the sales of insurance products in branch.
  • Provide superior service to customers in accordance with the Bank's required service standards.
  • Assist BM and frontline sales staff to ensure full compliance with both external regulatory codes/ordinance & internal compliance policies, standards, guidelines & procedures, particularly those applicable to the course of selling, i.e. sales staff's licensing and fitness & properness, KYC, FNA, anti-money laundering & documentation completeness in a/c opening & in each deal.
  • Improve control and compliance quality on bancassurance selling (i.e. need-based) and operation through leadership, education, on-going monitoring & effective remedial actions.
  • Assist branch to investigate and handle bancassurance complaint in accordance with the regulatory requirements and the Bank's escalation procedures.
  • Comply with the registered capacity as well as any conditions imposed by the HKMA.
Requirements
  • Degree holder in Business/Finance , or related discipline
  • At least 3 year's relevant insurance sales experience with excellent track records
  • Must be registered TR [General & Long Term] with passes in IIQE papers 1, 2, 3 & 5
  • Preferably registered RI [Type 1 & 4] with passes in HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7 & 8; or equivalent
  • Preferably be registered CI - CRWP (ECF-RWM)
  • Demonstrates sound understanding of product features in insurance and their benefits.
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitive activities in general industries; awareness of overseas markets;
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal, communication, presentation skills and influencing skills
  • Strong ownership with customer focus
  • High disciplined and self motivated on work, maintain a sharp focus and energy level, manage time and use mobile technology effectively to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and with ability to work under pressure and tight schedule
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English are required
