About the Department
The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities
Operational support function:
  • Preparation of reports, data analysis and other statistics to support and direct the sales team to achieve KPIs;
  • Analyze and share data to facilitate Sales/RMs/Channels/Product in resolving complex customer requests and complaints;
  • Administer and monitor sales pipelines; support the development, creation and overview of strategy plans, sales initiatives;
  • Management reporting such as transactional, calls and pipeline reports. To ensure all reports are provided promptly, timely and accurately for management review.

Sales support function:
  • Primary sales support role for CMB and BB Cash Sales team and secondary sales support role for CBS Cash Sales team;
  • Ensuring sales members comply with standard cash sales SOP such as deal-booking methodology in CRM, and rightful recognition of cash mandates, which is a critical component of Sales' KPIs;
  • Monitoring and tracking of significant deal implementation process;
  • Providing troubleshooting/assistance for complex escalated cases;
  • Staying up to date with new product launches and ensure sales members follow protocol in pricing governance process;
  • Data analysis to direct sales team to achieve KPIs;
  • Extracting customer info and provide analysis for pricing and rate reviews;
  • Providing support on client proposals and pitch-books/presentations, including write ups and consolidation of information, drafts etc;
  • Cash management mailbox support such as managing and attending to queries to relating to client queries and campaigns/initiatives.

Administrative function:
  • Filing and audit support;
  • Verify claim submissions;
  • Provide guidance to new joiners such as systems accesses and sales processes.


Job Requirements
  • Able to multi-task well
  • Able to troubleshoot problems independently
  • Receptive to explore new ways of doing things and provide feedback/suggestions to drive changes
  • Competent with MS Word, Excel and MS PowerPoint software
  • Strong project management and organization skills
  • Degree holder from a recognised university
