Job Description

As part of the Asia F ixed Income instruments, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) Project Management Office team, you will be driving transformation initiatives that contribute to new business revenue as well as upscaling operation efficiency through intelligent automation. You will be able to leverage and apply your experience effectively to project manage global business and industry initiatives or using automation tools to remove manual touch points.

In this role, you will be collaborating with numerous teams such as Front Office (Trading, Sales, and business management), Legal, Compliance, Middle Office, Back Office and global project management teams on a regular basis so effective communication.

We are looking for a motivated incumbent who can deliver with minimal supervision, whilst working effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will deploy your expertise to formula the project plan, recommend creative solutions to resolve problems and closing projects on schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

The portfolio of work will consist of projects of various sizes from tactical solutions to strategic programs. Core responsibilities include:
  • Drive and support strategic operational and business initiatives focusing on new business development, platform migrations, operational efficiency & control initiatives, and regulatory agenda
  • Provide governance and maintain program structure including regular updates to stakeholders at all levels following the through project life cycle from initiation through to completion
  • Execute project plan and spearhead projects against agreed scope, time, cost/resource constraints with an agile mindset
  • Create and maintain necessary project documentation including business cases, project plans, presentations and other necessary documentation
  • Develop and maintain strong partnership, collaboration and engagement with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in Derivatives Operations or prior Back Office Platform Transformation in financial services industry is required
  • Experience with either / or of the low-code automation tools such as Xceptor, Alteryx, UIPath etc is required
  • Comfortable in communicating and presenting information to senior management and a mass audience
  • Excellent project management skills including project initiation, control and governance, tracking and best practices, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Understanding of FICC business, and FX & Rates Derivatives settlement would be an advantage
  • Strong MS office skills including Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Visio would be an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
