Who we are looking for
Enterprise Continuity Services (ECS) develops and oversees a global program that governs the business in the creation of effective and risk appropriate continuity and recovery solutions to support the continuation of critical processing and servicing of our clients. The ECS Third-Party Dependencies Assistant Vice President (AVP) reports to Third-Party Dependencies management and is responsible for supporting the alignment of State Street's Enterprise Critical Third-Parties (ECTPs) to the corporate-wide operational resilience and business continuity programs. This individual will serve as a liaison between ECS, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Business Continuity teams on Third-Party related matters.

What you will be responsible for
As a Third-Party Dependencies AVP you will:
  • Perform Third-Party Verification by reviewing Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), attending Site Visits, and collecting test results to identify potential Third-Party continuity risks
  • Provide leadership to the team by supervising and overseeing the Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) review process
  • Lead Third-Party Site Visits for ECS Operational Resiliency and engage with the Third-Parties on continuity matters
  • Assist with creating and/or updating program Standards, Procedures and reporting
  • Monitor, track and report on Third-Party testing
  • Support ECS management to validate that Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, and regulatory requirements are adequately addressed for State Street's ECTP engagements
  • Oversee the team to validate that Third-Party application and engagement inventory is up to date, inventory trackers are maintained, and reporting is complete and accurate
  • Oversee the team to validate application and third-party dependency mapping gaps are monitored and tracked, and reporting is complete and accurate
  • Communicate with the business about Third-Party testing requirements, obtain and enter test results in the continuity management system
  • Identify any known issues or weaknesses in the Third-Party's resilience capabilities and open findings
  • Execute on additional program responsibilities as requested

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 4+ years Third-Party Risk Management and/or Business Continuity experience preferred
  • 4+ years related industry experience a plus
  • Professional Third-Party/Business Continuity certification preferred
  • Project Management, analysis and reporting experience beneficial
  • Experience with supervising staff and processes is preferred
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required

Salary Range:
$70,000 - $115,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
