Braeburn Whisky is the world's leading whisky cask investment company, with offices in Scotland, Spain, Singapore and now the USA. Our team is young, multicultural, and committed to helping our clients get the most out of the exciting world of whisky cask investment.

As part of our continuous growth, Braeburn Whisky is launching in the USA in February 2023. We are seeking a self-motivated portfolio manager to join us at our new office at Braeburn Whisky New York.

As a portfolio manager at Braeburn Whisky, you will first join our training academy to develop your whisky knowledge and understanding of the whisky investment market. Following the academy, you will become a part of a team of premier investment advisors specialising in the sale of whisky casks.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with clients to introduce them to whisky cask investment.
  • Chasing sales leads and following up on opportunities to generate sales.
  • Communicate with clients about their accounts, recommending new cask opportunities.
  • Creating opportunities and managing their own contact list effectively.
  • Keeping up to date on industry developments and product knowledge by reading current news.
  • Hosting events and seminars for new and existing investors.
  • Attending networking events to make new connections and create new opportunities.

Qualifications:

Candidates will ideally possess:
  • FINRA registered, relevant FINRA and NASAA qualifications.
  • Experience working for a broker dealer.
  • Strong background in investments, an understanding of financial markets.
  • Experience in selling luxury assets and high-ticket sales.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Native-level English
  • Proven sales experience and the ability to close.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong sales planning, prospecting, and organizational skills.
  • Interpersonal communication skills.

Permanent /Full-Time

Total weekly hours: 40

Your normal days of work will be Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.
