Job Description

Team/Function Overview:

The growing Proactive Risk Management team leads Risk and Control based proactive reviews of emerging and foundational technologies and delivers the resulting analysis to technology partners and senior management. We also lead risk remediation projects and partner with peers to ensure the successful delivery of projects in support of risk reduction.

Role / Position Overview:

Lead risk review and remediation projects
Work with various technology teams across our business unit and in some cases Citi as a whole
Doing deep dives into various aspects of their technology and programs to identify risk and building remediation plans around those risks
Drive remediation programs to completion to reduce risk in the environment

Development Value:

You will be exposed to a wide range of technologies, including cutting edge emerging technologies, from a risk perspective. You will also be exposed to various product of the firm and often have exposure to different areas of Citi when looking for firm wide solutions to risks/issues.

Knowledge/Experience:

Experience in Audit, Information Security or Risk Management.
Experience performing IT Business Analysis, Project Management or similar work required
Awareness and execution of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Managers Control Assessment (MCA), or other technology self-assessment processes is an advantage
Previous experience performing Internal and/or External Audit coordination or previous experience in Production Support and Application Development roles is an advantage

Skills:

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and prioritize within tight deadlines while maintaining total accuracy
Ability to influence others and quickly earn the confidence of others
Possess the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with various levels of management
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills

Qualifications:

CISM or CRISK certifications advantageous

Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.

Competencies:

Ability to analyze large amounts of data, decipher items relevant to the development unit covered, and determine corresponding risk
Familiarity with risk identification and management.
Ability to lead a technology risk audit or reviews
