Mirae Asset Global Investments is a global asset manager with 15 offices located across 12 countries. The firm has over 800 employees, 200+ of which are investment professionals, located across markets in which they invest.
The company is seeking an Investor Relations AVP for its alternative investments team in New York City. This person will work closely with senior leadership on a diverse set of high-profile projects implementing investor relations programming. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

The company is seeking an Investor Relations AVP for its alternative investments team in New York City. This person will work closely with senior leadership on a diverse set of high-profile projects implementing investor relations programming. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide fundraising support, including developing and executing strategic fundraising plans
- High involvement in the drafting of marketing materials for various private funds
- Support development of due diligence materials and legal documentation
- Support ongoing and ad-hoc investor requests
- Work on case studies and portfolio updates with the investment teams
- Set up of data room materials and investor access
- Maintenance of investor pipelines, diligence request and fundraise trackers
- Work with management teams on roadshow calendars, diligence sessions and meeting support
- Liaise with Fund Management to produce data requests and reporting materials
- Maintenance of fund level / portfolio level talking points
- Populate and update CRM software with call/meeting updates
- Schedule, attend and host meetings and events
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in investment management; venture capital / growth equity preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Background in IR or business development at a VC or growth equity investment firm; prior investment banking/capital markets/asset management or management consulting experience a plus
- Strong understanding of financial markets and private market investments
- Self-starter, with the ability to work well under pressure
- Effective interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work on a team
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
