This position is responsible for leading transaction execution and supporting origination of the M&A advisory business, based in London and operating across broad European markets with a sector-agnostic remit.

Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day management of project execution (M&A) with guidance from the Managing Director as appropriate.
  • Ongoing support with origination of corporate finance related mandates and the management of client relationships, of all sizes and across all sectors - with large scope to also champion a range of own origination initiatives.
  • Day-to-day leadership and management of workflows, and analysis to highest standards, supported by banking Associates and Analysts
  • Management of Analysts and Associates within the deal team;
  • Define complex modelling tasks clearly and accurately and take responsibility of the output.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

Requirements
  • At least 6 years experience in M&A/Corporate Finance/Project Finance from a reputable Investment Bank/Boutique/Accountancy Firm.
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
  • Strong valuation and financial modelling skills required.
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
  • Highly numerate.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Relevant deal experience gained from any of the following sectors (Telco, Infrastructure, Power & Utilities or Transport)
  • Ability to lead projects and be an effective part of an origination effort
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
  • Highly organised and reliable, self-starter, motivated and ambitious.
  • Team player capable of fitting in with the culture.
