Investment Manager

Job Description

We at Qatar International Enterprises are looking for an Investment Manager to join the family office in Doha. The organization invest across public equity market, ETFs, liquid investments, bonds, private equity, real estate, in both direct investment and manager selection.
 

What the job involves
 

• Focus on liquid investments, public equities, ETFs, bonds.
• Research, analysis and execution of public markets fund manager selection, including public equities, fixed income and hedge funds
• Manage investments in various local ventures across sectors and lead all decisions related to investments in these ventures, business development and dealing with banks
• Formulate investment strategies, and manage the day-to-day implementation of investment strategies and policies to achieve strategic return and meet risk objectives
• Conduct industry research and prepare reports and market commentaries
• Prepare financial modelling and valuation, risk analysis, capital allocation plans, etc. to facilitate decision making
• Produce thorough investment memorandums
• Monitoring of the current portfolio investments
• Screen investment projects, prepare analysis at various stages, undertake due diligence and be responsible for deal execution
• Ensure high integrity, accuracy and timeliness of investment decisions to protect the assets and ensure minimal risks and maximum contributions to the financial health of the Company
• Ensure that the investment portfolios comply with legal, regulatory, audit and tax requirements

Who we are looking for
 

• Experience of public markets fund manager selection
• Investing experience across a range of geographies
• First-class academic track record and good financial modelling skills
• Willingness to be based in the Middle East full time
