Quant Research Analyst

Our client, a growing investment management firm is looking for an experienced Quant investment research analyst to join a global team to cover market research and portfolio construction.

Description

The successful individual will work on quant investment research, help with quant investment analysis, especially on backtesting, infrastructure, pricing and strategy production. The individual will work directly with the head of investment in Hong Kong on signal research and portfolio construction.

Profile

• Masters of a quantitative related subject is required
• Over two years relevant experience as a quant strategist/quant researcher/quant investment analyst at hedge funds or asset managers
• Excellent object-oriented programming experience required with experience in Excel VBA required and Python highly desirable
• Strong Experience developing, extending, contributing to and supporting production research/analytics infrastructure
• Outstanding quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
