Description:
The QA Analyst III is an experienced test engineer who has strong technical skills and solid business knowledge to independently analyze requirements, create, and execute QA test cases, deliver, and support any feature in the software application. The incumbent should have good hands-on Python and be familiar with principal testing methodologies and must be capable to establish and maintain testing environments, execute tests, verify, and troubleshoot test results, suggest creative ideas and approaches for the improvement. The QA Analyst III should also be a good team player and customer focused.

Principle Accountabilities:
  • Develop Automation Framework using Python and framework native language for Robot with Framework with given requirements.
  • Work with Seniors in defining test requirements and methodologies for the automation framework.
  • Automate test cases in Framework like Robot.
  • Able to go research and find solutions to complex automaton problems.
  • Execute manual and automation testing and follow defined processes within the team.
  • Independently works on defining test scope, test execution.
  • Execute test responsibilities with minimal supervision. Able to handle multiple projects.
  • Create and maintain test artifacts and facilitating artifact reviews.
  • Interface and communicate with internal teams and external support groups. This includes reporting status, risks to senior team members.
Qualifications:
  • Hands on Python or Java is a must. Understanding shell scripting a plus.
  • Experience with Test Automation as well as manual testing. Able to propose newer ways to do automation.
  • Solid experience planning and executing tests in complex integrated distributed environment.
  • Experience working with multiple development teams, understanding priorities, communicating test results in a timely fashion.
  • Strong hands-on experience using Linux/UNIX.
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with low-latency middleware such as Kafka, MQ.
  • Significant experience troubleshooting issues (environment, database, test data) in complex integrated distributed environment.
  • Good problem determination skills that help lead to problem resolution.
  • Experience in building automation frameworks, writing step definitions a plus.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required or equivalent combination of education and relevant proven work experience that is required for the specific job level.
  • Experience: 4 years of progressively more demanding work experience that relates to the senior position. Candidate must demonstrate a successful testing career progression. Financial industry experience is a plus.
