Sobre a vaga
Main Responsibilities:
- Understand the main processes of the Real Estate Business and the regulatory framework of the industry, namely concerning anti money laundering and terrorist financing (AML/CFT), Whistleblowing and the current Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) framework;
- Identify and assess the main risks in the Real Estate Business processes, namely opportunities in order to improve and mitigate those risks;
- Assist in compiling, review, and update various internal policies and procedures on regular basis;
- Ensure the operating procedures are adhered to regulatory requirements and company policies;
- Propose measures to ensure compliance and effectiveness of the AML/CFT policy;
- Collaborate in the implementation of the ESG strategy;
- Prepare reports and conclusions to be shared with the company's management, business areas and other control functions;
- Keep up to date with relevant internal information from regulators;
- Define, design and implement regular training on compliance issues;
- Liaising across a variety of departments, supporting process owners and external partners;
- Stay current on relevant regulatory changes.
Required Profile:
- Degree or Master qualification in Management, Economics or Finance;
- 3/5 years of professional experience in Compliance or Risk Management;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken - mandatory;
- Knowledge of real estate management regulatory framework - preferential;
- Independent, critical thinking, systematic and quality-oriented way of working;
- Ability to build relationships with other internal teams and headquarters;
- Good communication skills, written and oral.
