The Role: QUE$TOR Senior Cost Analyst

The Team: The QUE$TOR team is responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting the suite of cost estimation products. This involves bringing the whole team's skills together to create new models, gather and analyze data, build the application and cost databases, and then support our client base and our internal teams; all in an ever-changing energy market.

The Impact: The cost data is a core part and a unique aspect of the QUE$TOR application. Ensuring this cost data is updated, accurate, and reflective of the current market is critical in ensuring our client can do their work and will continue to support the QUE$TOR application and team. This role is directly responsible for this cost data and thereby directly responsible for the success of the product.

Responsibilities:
  • Cultivating and leveraging networks to source procurement cost data and understand markets necessary to populate QUE$TOR databases
  • Source, analyze and compile the cost data for production of databases to be included in QUE$TOR.
  • Maintain and improve processes and internal relationships to ensure consistent data output over time and across the company.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to add new items to the database and improve current data.
  • Contribute to a variety of product related activities including writing content, presenting research, communicating with clients, etc.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelors degree with 5 years experience in oil & gas, cost estimation or procurement experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage and network with business contacts
  • Spanish language a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently but also integrate into a larger team to achieve a common goal.
  • Should be a problem solver and resourceful, able to address a given problem, but also assertive and willing to present an alternative perspective.
Grade/Level ( relevant for internal applicants only ): 10.

The Location: Houston, TX

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $59,800 - $99,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
