About PSRS/PEERS
PSRS/PEERS is the largest defined benefit pension plan in Missouri. The investment program fuels the majority of the funds needed to provide pension benefits for more than 298,000 Missouri public school personnel and their families. The market value of invested assets for PSRS/PEERS is approximately $53.5 billion.
Our 161 employees work out of our recently remodeled/expanded building located at 3210 West Truman Boulevard in Jefferson City. We are now adding a satellite office in St. Louis, Missouri where this position will be located. The Systems provide state-of-the-art technology and security.
About the Job
As an Investment Analyst, you will play a key role in the private real estate program. You will implement and administer investment policies and guidelines to help exceed the actuarial assumed rate of return while constraining risk. You will conduct due diligence, prepare and present material on prospective partnerships and co-investments; monitor existing private real estate investments; conduct general market research and assist with operational duties related to the real estate investment program.
This position reports to our Managing Director – Real Estate. Some overnight travel is required.
Job Requirements
Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, mathematics or a related field. At least two years of relevant work experience and active participation (or desire to participate) in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) course of study are required.
