We are the only global investment bank operating in Northern Ireland. Every day, our local experts interact with global teams in over 100 countries developing and supporting next-generation technology solutions for the enterprise and delivering critical services to the bank and its customers, to make sure we are a stronger and safer organization for our clients.
You will have a truly global reach, which will provide you with new experiences and development opportunities right here in Belfast's iconic Titanic Quarter.
We are seeking a creative and talented UX senior lead to join our growing UX organisation, helping to deliver exceptional, intuitive, and joined-up experiences for Risk Management, Compliance, Finance and HR systems, which are used by hundreds of thousands of Citi employees every day.

Reporting directly to the Global Head of UX, you will manage the elite GFT Central UX team, which will spearhead UX for the organization - driving standards, enabling, empowering and educating UX staff, and stepping into hands-on strategic projects as needed.

The central team takes the lead on standards, best practices and tooling for the organization, and you will have a leading role in shaping and developing these standards, as well as reaching out into global UX and development teams to give expert support and guidance on standards, practices and tools.

The team also has a remit to step into high-profile and cross-departmental projects, partnering with multiple product, business and technology teams to understand the problem space, using co-creation and workshops to formulate solutions, and then creating intuitive and delightful UX designs that create best-in-class experiences for users.

You will use your UX experience and design skills to lead by example - coaching, mentoring, and developing your team, and others, ensuring their work is based in research, following our processes, best practices, and design standards to create the highest quality designs that deliver measurable impact and benefit to the firm.

You will use your management experience to provide clear and transparent planning for your projects, carefully balancing strategic and tactical priorities. You will be trusted to efficiently manage manage resources, mitigate risks and establish governance to ensure the smooth and predictable running of work.

As a member of the UX leadership team, you will have the opportunity to work with the Head of UX and other UX leads to shape the culture, strategy, standards and operating model for the all global UX teams as we scale out our capabilities in a consistent and joined-up way.
