Team

DWS' infrastructure business has a more than 25-year heritage: it was first established in 1994 as NSW State Super (a large Australian pension fund) sought to create an infrastructure investment portfolio through direct investments and funds. This business became RREEF Infrastructure in 2004, which has since become a core part of the asset management business that is today DWS Group.
This fiduciary heritage defines the investment approach of the infrastructure business. DWS's infrastructure business has always been the architect of its investment strategy and fund terms. The investment platform exercises full discretion when setting out the investment strategy and fund size.
DWS's infrastructure investment business has EUR 26,7 billion of infrastructure AuM (as of 30 June 2022) across both direct investment (infrastructure equity and debt) and listed infrastructure securities. Direct infrastructure equity funds include:
  • Closed: Pan-European Infrastructure Fund ("PEIF", 2006): €2.1 billion. 12 investments across transport, logistics, utilities and energy.
  • Closed: Pan-European Infrastructure II ("PEIF II", 2016): €1.8 billion. 8 investments across transport, logistics and energy.
  • Closed: Pan-European Infrastructure III ("PEIF III", 2020): €3.1 billion. 6 investments to date across energy transition, healthcare, telecommunication, and transport.
The team anticipate launching several new funds / strategies over the course of the next 12 months, including the successor fund in the flagship PEIF series.
As part of the Infrastructure Specialist team, you will help to develop and maintain client relationships on behalf of the infrastructure platform. You will report into the regional lead of
Infrastructure Coverage and Investor Relations, and will work closely with the Infrastructure Investment Team, the Global Illiquid Specialist team, and the Global Client Coverage Division.
