About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-starting Data PM/Analyst with extensive experience in the financial services industry to help a mid sized asset management firm to build a CDO function. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience and a proven track record in data analysis and project management. This individual must be an articulate communicator and a self-starter, with a passion for working with data and a strong ability to navigate complex datasets.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience and a proven track record in data analysis and project management. This individual must be an articulate communicator and a self-starter, with a passion for working with data and a strong ability to navigate complex datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Discovery
- Data mapping
- Data governance/management
- Data sourcing
- Data modelling
- Creating project management artifacts (plans, RAID, steering, status)
- Creating artifacts for data solutions (option paper, solution architecture, future state document)
- Day-to-day management of in-flight projects
- Communications related to projects
- Liaison with management for issue remediation, risk mitigation, and dependencies
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis and project management in the financial services industry (or exceptional experience from other industries such as fintech or telco)
- Demonstrated competencies in data analysis, including data gathering, querying, cleansing & preparation, and visualisation & analytics
- Strong experience in project management, including requirements gathering & scope definition, project planning, RAID management, status reports, and steering committee management
- Proficiency in technology platforms for data analysis, including Amazon RDS, Snowflake, Redshift, Informatica, Talend, PowerBI, Qlik, and Tableau
- Expertise in the use and manipulation of Excel spreadsheets
- Experience in project management tools, including Teams & SharePoint, Powerpoint, and project planning tools
Soft Skills:
- Strong research skills and ability to navigate complex datasets using proven frameworks and processes
- Ability to work dynamically with key stakeholders and demonstrate progress against a plan
