Job Title: Data PM/Analyst - Inside IR35 Contract (Umbrella)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-starting Data PM/Analyst with extensive experience in the financial services industry to help a mid sized asset management firm to build a CDO function. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience and a proven track record in data analysis and project management. This individual must be an articulate communicator and a self-starter, with a passion for working with data and a strong ability to navigate complex datasets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Discovery
  • Data mapping
  • Data governance/management
  • Data sourcing
  • Data modelling
  • Creating project management artifacts (plans, RAID, steering, status)
  • Creating artifacts for data solutions (option paper, solution architecture, future state document)
  • Day-to-day management of in-flight projects
  • Communications related to projects
  • Liaison with management for issue remediation, risk mitigation, and dependencies


Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis and project management in the financial services industry (or exceptional experience from other industries such as fintech or telco)
  • Demonstrated competencies in data analysis, including data gathering, querying, cleansing & preparation, and visualisation & analytics
  • Strong experience in project management, including requirements gathering & scope definition, project planning, RAID management, status reports, and steering committee management
  • Proficiency in technology platforms for data analysis, including Amazon RDS, Snowflake, Redshift, Informatica, Talend, PowerBI, Qlik, and Tableau
  • Expertise in the use and manipulation of Excel spreadsheets
  • Experience in project management tools, including Teams & SharePoint, Powerpoint, and project planning tools
