Citi's Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory ("BCMA") division provides comprehensive relationship coverage and a full suite of products and services in an effort to be the best possible financial partner to its institutional clients.
BCMA in Budapest covers portfolio of the largest local client groups and provides services for these clients both in the Hungary and globally. New Corporate Banking Analyst will report to the Corporate Bank Head in Hungary.

The corporate banking team is responsible for deepening the wallet with the existing clients and expanding the relationship portfolio within the boundaries of the target market. The main scope is generating business opportunities at the intersection of a wide and complex array of products. That includes - beyond the day-to-day solutions for the transactional business and working capital optimization of our clients' activities - M&A, Debt and Equity Capital Markets, Syndicated Loans and various other capital structuring/complex & value-added products.
The position is located in Budapest and provides great opportunity to use your interpersonal skills and business acumen to work with regional & local teams in an inspiring multinational environment.

Our team in Hungary serves clients across Hungary, Western Balkan and the Baltics region. Our analysts are instrumental in orchestrating the delivery of Citi's global product platform and develop integrated financing strategies. Through these efforts, our analysts address our client's complex global banking needs, helping them solve problems and realize opportunities. The analysts work closely with our other business units to ensure client access to the full range of products and expertise within the organization.

Responsibilities :
  • Work on relationships within a client sector, assisting Senior Bankers in business origination across Citi's product set
  • Provide support in origination and execution of new flow businesses and episodic transactions in Hungary, Western Balkan and the Baltics
  • Maintain operational duties throughout the Corporate Banking relationship infrastructure, including approvals and documentation
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the dynamics of the business and the major clients with the aim of identifying future marketing opportunities
  • Develop strong relationships internally with key product, industry and risk partners
  • Provide assistance managing the flow business of existing clients backed by senior bankers' support
  • Collaborate within the team to manage the portfolio and individual client risk

Qualifications :
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Corporate Banking business, its related products and pertinent regulations affecting it
  • Comprehensive credit skills, ability to efficiently analyze financial statements
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
