Business Analyst - Trade Surveillance

Fantastic opportunity in a leading Investment bank to join their Risk Management Division.

As a BA/Product Owner you will report into the Principal Product Owner who is responsible for ensuring that the Surveillance systems have the appropriate coverage and capabilities to meet regulatory requirements.

The Role Responsibilities:

• Maintaining backlog ensuring surveillance leads, program teams and business stakeholders are informed of the Trade Surveillance product roadmap
• Carry out near-term road mapping to ensure the Trade Surveillance program remains on track and reflects regulatory and business requirements
• Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure detection models and scenarios remain appropriate to meet changing business risk profiles
• Consider new or enhanced surveillance controls that address the changing business structure and ensure that a robust approach is taken to mitigate business risk

Requirements:

• Good product knowledge e.g. Commodities, FX, Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives
• Strong knowledge of European financial markets regulation, e.g. MiFID II, MAR, GDPR, etc
• Experience working in an agile environment in the context of risk management within an Investment Bank
• Prior experience managing multiple stakeholders at all levels and driving technology squads
• Possess good project management skills and a proven record in successfully managing and completing key projects
