What you will be responsible for
As the ADS Head of Dev Ops we are looking for the following:
  • Establish the Dev Ops Practice area, responsible for end of end client implementations environment, technical operations and adherence to the standard documentation across the globe for all Alpha Data Services clients
  • Be the single point of contact for all Alpha implementations support starting with requirements gathering, environment right sizing, finalizing the Alpha components required to meet the requirements
  • Provide ongoing support for environment upgrades
  • Provide support for all environments for a given client starting with Sandbox, BUAT, CUAT, Pre Prod and Prod as necessary for a given client
  • Define and own the Packaging, Code management and deployment best practices across all of Alpha components
  • Maintain client profiles with version information for all Alpha clients within Alpha eco system (CRD, ADP, Grid Services etc.,)
  • Responsible for the end to end environments of Alpha clients, starting with helping with Business Requirements, Solution Design, Environment Setup, Deployment of any Custom Components, Testing Activities, Go Live activities and Post Go live hyper care support for any technical infrastructure
  • Collaborate with all internal technical and business teams including GTS, SaaS Ops, Alpha Cloud Ops, Alpha Platform Engineering, Alpha Product, ADS Product, Alpha Data Ops and clients to resolve data issues
  • Act as the ADS Lead for all dev ops activities with internal or external stake holders
  • Collaborate with Client Implementation Executives to align on the Alpha environment provisioning activities
  • Establish procedures to communicate to all stakeholders on status and progress of the overall environment status and release calendars for various Alpha components
  • Collaborate with external vendors as appropriate, this will include vendors and partners like Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Bloomberg, Refinitive, MSCI, Factset, Axioma etc.,
  • Monitor the environment usage and the charges that ADS is incurring to insure we have a good handle on the expense management with Azure, Snowflake and others as appropriate

These skills will help you succeed in this role:
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills across all channels and levels of recipients including team members, colleagues, clients at all levels including C suite.
  • Demonstrate excellent motivational skills and lead by example in all areas.
  • Support a culture of commitment, team work and productivity alongside diversity and work life balance.
  • Technical proficiency in Cloud infrastructure, Snowflake and other technical components like Qlik, Network configurations
  • Must have experience in Front, Middle and Back Office services
  • Must have proficiency in SQL
  • Knowledge about internal and external integrations, triage issues and implement/recommend solutions to data problems and anomalies
Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • University degree in the field of computer science, data management or other financial services technical field
  • 15+ years in Financial Services as a Developer, Dev Manager and Dev Ops Manager

Salary Range:
$170,000 - $267,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
