Someone to is ready to work with some of the largest private equity fund of funds managers in the world. You have a couple years of private equity operations experience and are able to make entries in Investran yourself. You will contribute your ideas and efforts to driving efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.

Why the role is important

The team you will be joining is a part of International Fund Services (IFS), acquired by State Street in July 2002. IFS, also known as Alternative Investment Solutions is a recognized industry-leading provider of fund accounting, fund administration and risk services to hedge funds and private equity funds. These services are fully integrated to provide complete end-to-end solutions that span the front-, middle- and back-office requirements of institutional investors.

What you will be responsible for
As Senior Associate you will
  • Manage private equity capital cash flow accounting treatment
  • Troubleshoot bank reconciliations and post entries
  • Correspond with clients and investment managers to manage workflow and deadlines.
  • Support audits and respond to client inquiries.
  • Understand limited partnership agreements, guide decision making and ensure compliance.
  • Manage relationships across departments and with client personnel and investment managers.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
  • 2 to 3 years of Fund Accounting experience
  • Experience with private equity in particular and alternative investments generally.
  • Experience using Investran highly desirable

Salary Range:
$64,480 - $91,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
