The Role: Entity Management - Data Steward

The Team: Data Management focuses on data strategy and is considered the data custodian where we interact with clients, products, technology, legal and data operations groups.

The Impact: As part of the reference data group, this role will help support multiple business lines and their corresponding products by connecting our stakeholders to our data. The role will help troubleshoot and fix data issues as well as identifying efficiencies in our data collection efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Product teams and directly with the clients' to understand their requirements
  • Ensure smoother data collection processes and policies
  • Liaise with tech teams for product enhancements
  • Work with regulatory frameworks, third party vendors, data sources & changes
  • Converting raw complex data into easy to understand and comprehendible information through data visualization.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, STEM, Economics or a related field Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Data Governance knowledge Data Integration background Hands on experience in writing and developing SQL Queries (joins, exist/not-exist, group by, having, cast, etc.) Experience in Data Mining, Analysis and Visualization Innovative and Effective Problem-solving skills Experience in Data Management in a financial market data intensive environment Ability to work collaboratively across segments and cultures, handle stakeholder requirements - weekly reports, escalating issues, raising flags wherever required. Comfortable to work in flexible hours to support US timings (evening shift) Takes initiative with a high sense of urgency

Other Preferred Qualifications -
Familiarity with 3rd Party data, S&P Global' s competition in the market. Working knowledge of Visualization Tools (Tableau, Power BI etc.)
