The Team:

The Market Intelligence Platform and Channels (PC) Technology organization provides data technology and services supporting acquisition, ingestion, content management, mastering and distribution to power our business line and customer needs. Focus on platform scale to support business lines through a common data lifecycle that accelerates business value. The office strives to provide new insight to our customers through data discovery, research, and integrated access. In certain cases, the office will utilize capital investment on key initiatives to deliver immediate value or remediate high risk areas through structured programs. Maintains a focus on innovation to keep ahead of market trends and disruptive technologies.

Position Summary:

The Communications Manager for Platforms and Channels will own the design and implementation of an end-to-end communications plan for Platforms and Channels. The role will focus both on communications internally within Platforms and Channels teams, as well as communications to groups outside of Platforms and Channels - technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.

What's in it for you:
  • Design and implement end to end communications plan for Platforms and Channels, to address multiple audiences and types of content to be published and/or communicated.
  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create succinct, precise messaging including internal and stakeholder communications, collateral, thought leadership, articles, online content, and toolkit materials, to address the target audience.
  • Coordinate creation and distribution of content across various channels, including websites, intranets, newsletters, etc., as well as helping to collate and organize existing documentation already in circulation.
  • Organize and standardize Platforms and Channels consumer-facing product documentation, such as release notes, service descriptions, and other consumer-facing guides, so that our stakeholders have a common way of accessing this information.
  • Work with the Platforms and Channels leadership team to execute communication initiatives from concept to delivery.
  • Ensure we are proactively communicating what our organizations do, how they do it, why they do it, how stakeholders would engage, their policies and processes, etc.
  • Proactively communicate, collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to suggest, and enhance the existing communication process and improve the communication style as needed.
  • Act as an advisor on what kind of communication solutions are apt for specific situations, and consider offering innovative solutions like webcasts, podcasts, and webinars to ensure the maximum user response rate.
  • Develop and author a variety of internal and executive communications including presentations, announcements, blogs to be delivered across a variety of communications channels.
  • Organize regular communication forums such as Platforms and Channels internal town halls.
  • Communicate effectively with multiple teams in multiple time zones to elicit or clarify requirements, coordinate draft reviews, and obtain signoff.
  • Develop standards and processes for the collation of internal technical documentation.
  • Manage the scope of work, objectives, quality of deliverables, and other project management activities
    • Track and measure all initiatives to identify potential process and quality improvements
    • Develop and implement continuous improvement processes for assigned projects
    • Use metrics and measurement tools to analyze the impact of various communications, making modifications where necessary
What We're Looking For:
  • 10+ years of experience in internal communications or related field, with a focus on technology related communications.
  • Experience managing a variety of corporate communications channels and formats, including corporate intranets, SharePoint, Confluence, newsletters, town halls and other forums.
  • Executive communications experience: You can write and tailor content for specific audiences that demonstrates an understanding of messaging, positioning and stakeholder needs.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills. Experience and proven ability to work with technology professionals.
  • Project management acumen to work with various stakeholders and manage multiple internal contributors.
Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $88,3 00 - $175,650 . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
