Reporting to the Head of PBD Operations & Business Control, you will be responsible for supervising and monitoring the Operations and Administration unit of Private Banking, ensuring the daily flow to run smoothly and initiating the process streamline and re-engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage clerical staff of in Operations and Administration unit
  • Check, control and approve day-to-day transactions of current account, saving account and fixed deposit, issuance of demand draft and cashier order, securities settlement, mark to market securities valuation, loan processing and customer information system maintenance
  • Ensure the banking operations of Private Banking in compliance with guidelines and other compliance manual and procedures & etc.
  • Streamline and formulate, review, write-up and revise the Operations Procedures Guidelines
  • Initiate and handle the Operations streamline projects such as system enhancement
  • Provide guidance and training on daily operation procedures and guidelines to all Private Banking staff
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned by Division Head and/or Head of Private Banking Operations & Business Control
  • Back up other Operations Managers as and when required
To meet the challenge, you should have the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Degree holder in Business or Finance
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in banking industry; experience in Private Banking preferred
  • Sound knowledge of branch and settlement operations
  • Strong leadership, communication & interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical skill and self-motivated
  • Good problem solving & project management skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
