What will you be doing?

• On behalf of a global financial services organization, test, maintain, and monitor data platforms on Big Data Technologies to support applications within Data Management and Risk, Finance, and Treasury group.
• Perform onboarding of application migration to cloud platforms. Review test strategy, test cases, test results, and recommend solutions to complex application problems.
• Perform integration functions to remove manual intervention for incident recovery.
• Consult with management to ensure agreement on systems principles, operations of data platforms, deliverables, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead developers and vendor teams on upstream and downstream systems projects to ensure onboarding, releases, migrations, and platform stability.
• Perform Operational Acceptance Testing to ensure production readiness of new systems.
• Perform resilience testing for components and ensure resilience readiness of systems.
• Ensure applications meet critical Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreements, and deliverables.
• Address and resolve gaps from external and internal audit requests. Troubleshoot system malfunctions to restore normal functioning.
• Produce Technical Incident Post Mortem (TIPM) documents for resolution of major incidents.
• Consult with development teams, vendor teams, upstream and downstream systems to ensure onboarding, releases, migrations, platform stability, and delivery of reports and services to internal business and external regulators.
• Consult with business to close production issues caused by change or process.
• Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
• Handover finished product to technology teams.

What we're looking for:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent (3 or 4 years acceptable) in Computer Science or a related field and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the position offered or related occupation.

Must have at least three (3) years of experience with each of the following required skills:

• Maria DB, Hadoop, Mongo DB, Oracle, Rainstor, and MS SQL for analyzing data, troubleshooting production batch failures with data loading, retrieval, and user reports;
• APAAS (Application as a Service), Internal Cloud Platform, and ESaaS (Elastic Search as a Service) to migrate applications to cloud technologies;
• ETL (Extract Transform Load) Tools: Informatica, and Ab Initio for data analytics and producing structured files;
• ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) standards in onboarding operations and enhancements in application lifecycle;
• iDASH, AppDynamics, LogStash, Kibana, Filebeat, ElasticSearch, Netcool, Service First, and Jira for automated production releases, troubleshooting application failures, and monitoring application health;
• Autosys, Windows Scheduler, and Crontab for scheduling, monitoring, and reporting tasks.
