The Client Transitions team helps Broker Dealers and Advisors to onboard their business to Pershing's platform. The Client Transition department consists of two primary roles - Account Manager and Specialist. The Account Manager is there to ensure a seamless transition for new clients in compliance with legal and compliance regulations and follows a project management discipline to coordinate activities spanning many teams and topics.

As the Account Manager you will define and manage the lifecycle from project initiation through to program closure. You will manage and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies. You will measure and monitor program actuals, forecasts, budgets, and update plans with accurate, up-to-date information in a timely manner. You will report financial information and status to the required executive level through steering committees. Secures, leads, motivates, and inspires the internal & external resources required to deliver the program. Establishes the program s governance (e.g. sponsors, approvers, stakeholders). Serves as a liaison between clients and internal technical groups to ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification. Provides advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes and firm or business unit strategy. Ensures project delivery is in conformance with company methodologies and standards. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives

You will have exposure to the most senior leadership of both Pershing and our clients. You will build a network within Pershing|BNYM, and gain experience working directly with our clients, industry partners and internal technical subject matter experts.

The successful candidate will demonstrate/possess:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience and at least 1-3 years of management experience preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office product suite preferred.
  • Series 99 preferred. Can be obtained after hire.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $63,000 and $137,750 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
