International private investment fund is seeking a motivated and talented investment professional to join their Miami-based team.
Working closely with the Founder and CIO, the successful candidate will have a diverse slate of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
-Development and management of a Private Markets portfolio;
-Analyze and evaluate growth equity and direct venture opportunities;
-Development and management of a Public Markets portfolio;
-Analyze and monitor investment performance, generate ideas and make recommendations;
-Strong grasp of macro, ability to analyze, assimilate and interpret data on economic, market and political events impacting the portfolio.
The successful candidate will have the following:
-5+ years' relevant experience in buy/sell side research, asset management, private equity or hedge fund;
-Background in the due diligence and evaluation of sector-agnostic growth equity and venture investments;
-Advanced financial modeling skills;
-Experience with Bloomberg and Factset;
-Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written);
-Multi-lingual (French, Portuguese, Spanish) a huge plus, but not required;
-Bachelors degree from a top school, MBA preferred;
-Professional certification (ie; CFA charterholder) strongly preferred;
-Ability to travel occasionally as required.
