We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our department as Assistant Business Manager.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our department as Assistant Business Manager.
Principal responsibilities
- Provide business management support and process governance to Investment Products and Advisory Business Department (IVP), oversee the execution of business initiatives and activities in support of business area aims.
- Engage with IVP teams and various businesses and operating functions to design, document and maintain effective processes and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, rules, codes, regulations and guidelines set by regulators and internally by HSBC Group.
- Facilitate and support management decision making by use of management information, performance information, analytics, forums, stakeholder feedback
- Participate in devising and monitoring of internal governance activities including risk and controls, regulatory controls, audit and regulatory compliance review remediation
- Assist to perform administrative tasks for the department
- University Graduate in Finance, Banking, Business Management, Business Administration or related disciplines is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in banking/ financial services industry with exposure in business management, analytics or investment related business
- Knowledge of investment products such as Investment Funds, Bonds, FX and Structured Products is preferred
- Good interpretation skills especially with regards to understanding regulatory requirements, business risk, processes, procedures and operational controls
- Good analytical skills with ability to think logically, quickly grasp complex topics, and synthesize multiple sources of information
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective deliverables
- Independent and proactive, able to work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skill and strong literacy in both English and Chinese
- Sound knowledge of PC application software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
