About The Role

Our Risk team sits at the very core of Revolut. Those special agents work across functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure that the business is on safe footing 🕶️ People in the Risk team are among the first in the company to get involved in new business initiatives, from App Technology, through Treasury and Finance, to Customer Support 💫

We’re looking for a Head of Acquiring Risk to join one of the most successful financial technology company in the world 📣 An expert to support the design, implementation and embedding of risk framework. Someone to join the team which sets out the global risk management approach at Revolut factoring in the business strategy and board level risk appetite 🦉

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Defining and executing a long-term vision for managing acquiring risks
  • Building and owning risk relationships with payment partners, regulators, government agencies, and vendors
  • Serving as the key subject matter expert in acquiring risk across the company and/or with external partners
  • Resolving the root cause analysis risk incidents and open findings
  • Identifying risk and suggest commercially-viable controls
  • Testing key controls
     

What You'll Need

  • A solid track record of driving down risk loss
  • Experience managing both fraud and credit risk within payments
  • A good understanding of chargebacks, collections and investigations
  • Extensive knowledge in acquiring fraud schemes and risk prevention methods and detection tools for digital, virtual and physical goods for both card present and card not present
  • Able to influence, coach, and develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels, gaining their acceptance, and driving change
  • Intellectually curious, and you can bring valuable insights into the team and business
  • Thrive in dynamic working environments
  • Data driven approach to problem solving
