On behalf of our client, a globally operating Investment Firm, Swisslinx is looking for a Trade Support Specialist, to join the local team in Switzerland. In this role you would support the Investment Specialists to ensure all trades across products are captured and executed in a timely manner.
Your Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and timely clearance of the trades across products (interest rate, credit, bonds, equities, futures and FX products)
- Manage and timely execution of all queries received from Portfolio Managers
- Match trades on various electronic affirmation platforms as well as ensure all trades that do not go through electronic platforms are captured and mitigated
- Escalation of issues to line manager, risk department or the wider management if and whenever needed
- Liaise with various internal stakeholders and departments on an ad-hoc basis to ensure the accurate and timely capture of trades is completed every day
- Proactively identify and document process weaknesses and respective improvements
Your Profile:
- Minimum 5 years experience within a trading role
- Strong knowledge across various products, specifically equity derivatives
- Comprehensive market knowledge and familiarity with industry and regulatory change
- Ability to work independently while being able to interact in a professional and friendly manner with front and investment office
- Familiarity with MarkitWire, Markit Trade Manager, Bloomberg, and Murex is beneficial
- Full business fluency in English
