Our Risk Analyst s are analytical thinkers who have excellent attention to detail skills. They are deadline driven and understand complex edicts, regulation guidelines, insurance products, and financial legislation . They have t echnical knowledge in product life cycle, market risk solutions, fixed income products, credit risk and attribution s. Our Risk Analysts are excellent communicators with a proven ability to influence and challenge.

This Risk Analyst is a critical role on our North America Operations team reporting into the Director of Operational Risk. They are required to support the implementation and application of the Risk Management Framework responsibilities, including but not limited:

  • Become a subject matter expert in the use of , the Firm's designated risk system as the sole repository for Risk Event Information .
  • W ork across the business to ensure timely and accurate recordi ng and reporting of Risk Events, p roviding challenge to content and cause of the Event to ensure it is factually accurate .
  • Ensure delivery of quality, accurate Risk Events to clients in a timely manner, with appropriate assessment of regulatory impact .
  • Identifying efficiencies and improvements in the process related to quality and timeliness.
  • Root Cause and thematic analysis along with working with the business to improve the control environment to reduce the volume of Risk Events.
  • A ssist in driving quality action plans (events and audits) , with appropriate ownership and oversight to ensure completion on schedule thereby mitigating FNZ risk exposure.
  • Support first line of defense with any Risk Event related enquiries
  • Deliver Risk Event t raining focusing on identification, quality and tim eliness of Risk Event reporting and ensure all mandatory training is completed in a timely fashion.


What we are looking for:
  • Minimum 3 years' risk management or auditing experience in financial services
  • Working knowledge of wealth management, asset management and - administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at a variety of levels within a regulated environment, both internally and externally
  • Ability to build and maintain relationship with clients
  • Ability to take initiatives and work under pressure


What are nice-to-haves:
  • Related professional or industry qualifications with Audit or R isk Management as a major
  • Experience working for banking, wealth p latform or asset management providers in financial services
