Our client is a Middle Eastern family which owns a number of businesses in multiple sectors. The companies have a successful track record of generating strong returns over generations and is well established in the UAE.
What the job involves
The CIO will work closely with the family on the following matters:
- Defining strategic asset allocation and developing portfolios across asset classes including equities, fixed income, commodities and alternative investments
- Evaluate investment opportunities and present/discuss findings with the family
- Play a role in due diligence and financing of property transactions
- Manage relationships with third parties including banks, investment managers and legal/tax advisors
- Monitor the performance of the existing assets
- Represent the family where appropriate through direct involvement with portfolio companies
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative subject such as Finance, Economics and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Experience within an international private bank handling UHNWI family wealth managing investments within a family office.
