We are an institutional investment manager and one of the fastest growing affiliates within the Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (“CCLFG”). CC&L Multi-Asset Institutional Portfolios were launched in 2019 to meet increasing demand from institutional clients and their consultants for customized investment solutions that incorporate different investment strategies available through CCLFG-affiliated investment teams. With the growth of the business, we are looking for an experienced full-time, permanent Client Service Administrator to join our Multi-Asset Institutional Portfolios team. The successful candidate will work in a multi-functional team environment and have primary responsibility for all aspects of portfolio administration across a wide variety of institutional clients and investment mandates. The position may be based in Vancouver, Toronto, or Montreal.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with the Multi-Asset VP & Product Specialist on all aspects of client account administration matters related to CC&L Multi-Asset Institutional Portfolios
  • Collect information related to clients, client accounts and investment strategies
  • Work across the business to improve systems, processes, and communications
  • Coordinating communication between CC&L Canada, clients, investment teams, institutional sales managers, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely response to queries
  • Assisting with developing formal external communications including client reports, presentations, capital calls and ad hoc commentary
  • Managing workflow related to prospective and existing client deliverables What You Bring:

Market Knowledge:

  • You have an undergraduate degree in economics or finance (or a related field) and a keen interest in capital markets with 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Relationship Building: You enjoy building relationships both within and outside of the organization, and are an effective communicator
  • Collaboration: You work well with others while also taking initiative where current practices may be improved
  • Multi-tasking: We work with a broad variety of client types, implementing highly customized portfolios that include a number of different investment strategies. You have the ability to prioritize and manage a wide range of responsibilities
  • Drive: This is a growing business; you thrive in a high-paced, dynamic environment
  • Passion for Learning: You welcome the opportunity to work side-by-side with seasoned investment professionals within CCLFG, and with clients and their investment consultants
  • Bilingualism, while not required, would be considered an asset
