Key Responsibilities:
Resilience Risk Management, identification and reduction across all business areas:
• Coordinate and manage annual Operational Resilience regulatory and internal policy control requirements across all business areas including creation and maintenance of BIAs/BCP plans, identification and maintenance of Important Business Services, impact tolerances , dependency mappings, testing and Board self assessment drafting recommending remediation of any resilience risks identified through exercises.
• Develop and regularly present on appropriate operational resilience reporting covering risks, vulnerabilities, compliance and issues embedding regular reporting within the R&S governance structure.

Crisis Management coordination and Testing:
• Create and maintain a R&S bronze team mobilising and assist Operational Resilience Lead (ORL) to facilitate crisis management calls and meetings during R&S only impacting incidents
• Participate in Group led or industry holistic crisis management exercises on behalf of the business

Internal / External assurance coordination and delivery:
• Act as a back-up point of contact (POC) to the ORL for Retail & Savings concerning operational resilience matters.
• Coordinate responses to internal assurance requests from second third line and external regulatory requests concerning operational resilience, gaining management sign off for responses before submission.
• Support the 1st line Risk team to ensure Operational Resilience consideration is built into the R&S risk appetite, metrics and RCSA. Coordinate the annual ASOC attestation process.

Operationalise Resilience as part of BAU:
• Support the ORL to ensure resilience consideration is given as part of business as usual decision making, projects, change and transformation enabling resilience by design.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Knowledge and experience of Resilience industry standards, best practice and tools
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to consume multiple sources of data
  • Ability to manage workload and deliver to prescribed timelines
  • Stress resilient
  • M&G plc knowledge (desirable)
