Position Description
We are a part of PIMCO's financial engineering services team focusing on Corporate Credit business. We work in partnership with quantitative research analysts and build tools & applications for our portfolio management teams. Our applications include services, dashboards, reports, etc.
We are looking to hire a full stack developer with knowledge and understanding of complete software development process. Candidate will directly work with our quantitative research analysts and portfolio management teams. Candidate should have prior work experience in the finance industry
Responsibilities
Salary Range: $ 127,500.00 - $ 225,000.00

Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver high-quality code that anticipates scale, reliability, monitoring, integration, and extensibility
- Develop new or enhance an existing credit analytics model in partnership with quantitative analysts
- Develop python based UI dashboards that allows our portfolio managers to analyze data/trends/outliers
- Develop services to share data across the firm
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and testing of Python applications
- Candidate should have prior work experience in the finance industry
- Intermediate SQL/Database Query skills
- Experience designing web based applications
- Strong analytical ability to learn independently from the code / reverse engineer
- Ability to work well independently and in cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Master's degree in finance/CFA is a plus
