The Investment Analyst will work across all phases of the Fund cycles, from investment analysis and transaction execution to day-to-day management support to maximise returns for investors. The successful candidate will be energetic and proactive.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Deal Execution:

  • Sourcing and analysis of investment opportunities
  • Identify main financial / non-financial risks for target companies
  • Support on deal execution and structuring
  • Underwriting and financial modelling
  • Creation of deal memorandums and Investment Forms
  • Coordinate and support all stakeholders across the Due Dilligence process
  • Understand conditions for the companies to apply for EU and national grants

Investment management support:

  • Work closely with Fund Managers to maximise returns on investment by making informed strategy decisions
  • Monitoring the accuracy of investment valuations through analysing and interpreting financial statement information
  • Market research and analysis
  • Reporting of existing investments

Management of Funds:

  • Tracking progress of new deals ensuring standards are in line with strategy
  • Investor relationship
  • Analysis of fund exposure, historic performance and cash commitments
  • Liaising with Investor Relations functions to inform investors on the position of their funds
  • Working with Fund Accountants to produce quarterly accounts reflecting deal activity

 

Profile:

  • Master’s degree in business management, Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role on Investment Markets
  • English / Advanced
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Effective analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Curiosity for new technologies and ESG themes
  • Ability to understand and incorporate ESG criteria on company valuation
  • Sharp eye for detail
  • Investment Market activities knowledge
  • Previous planning reporting and analysis experience
