Our team at Macquarie Capital, Germany is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst or junior Associate to join our team in Frankfurt.

As an Analyst/ Associate, you will be able to combine typical project finance and LBO investment banking tasks with direct principal investing from our own Macquarie Capital balance sheet. We are advising local and international clients on all financing related aspects

In this role, your responsibilities will include the following:
  • Extensive financial modelling
  • Support the team to structure and negotiate competitive financing packages
  • Day to day work with financing partners (DD calls, NDAs, reliance letters, KYC, structure discussions)
  • Interaction with our broad financing network (close relationship to more than 50 banks and financial institutions)
  • Support to create marketing materials (close collaboration with our successful M&A team)
  • Organizing of lender education processes for sell-side mandates
  • Working with due diligence advisers on DD reports
  • Update of debt databases

You will be afforded the opportunity to work in one of the most successful debt advisory teams in Frankfurt along with the potential to grow and work independently from day one.

You will work with the senior team to generate and execute opportunities, assisting them in all marketing and transaction execution activities with an emphasis on financial analysis. You will prepare financial models and pitch books for marketing and transaction execution purposes as well as model cash flows / financial projections to support transactions. You will also attend relevant meetings, industry conferences, etc.

To be successful for this role, you will have between 2-4 years of relevant experience and an excellent academic record. You will be able to demonstrate your deal execution experience and be regarded as an outstanding performer amongst your peers, with strong financial modelling, valuation, and presentation skills, and excellent written and spoken English and German.
